Minneapolis and saint Paul, Minnesota, will welcome 58 athletes and support staff from Connecticut as they prepare to represent the state at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. The Games, scheduled for June 20-26, 2026, will showcase the talents and dedication of athletes with intellectual disabilities from across the nation.
Team Connecticut: A State-Wide Effort
The Connecticut delegation includes 39 athletes and Unified Sports® partners, who will compete across five different sports disciplines. Nineteen dedicated coaches and staff members will provide essential support throughout the competition. Remarkably, Team CT draws depiction from 35 towns and cities throughout Connecticut, demonstrating a broad base of participation and community support.
