Brazil Announces New Minister of Justice and Public Security
BRASÍLIA — President Luiz Inácio lula da Silva has named Wellington César lima e Silva as the new Minister of Justice and Public Security, succeeding Ricardo Lewandowski in the post.
Lima e Silva currently serves as general counsel for Petrobras and was invited too assume the role at a meeting with the president at the Planalto Palace. The interim Minister of Justice, manoel Carlos de Almeida Neto, attended the discussions.
