AESTURA, a South Korean dermocosmetic brand, launched exclusively at over 400 Sephora locations and on Sephora.com in February 2025, marking a significant expansion into the U.S. Skincare market.

The brand, recognized as the number one dermatologist-recommended brand in Korea for sensitive skin, is bringing its science-backed approach to a wider audience through the partnership. AESTURA’s formulations are the result of over 40 years of research and are trusted by dermatologists at leading medical institutions in South Korea, where it has been the top-selling cosmetic brand in skin clinics for nine consecutive years. The company as well maintains 100% distribution within tertiary general hospitals across the country.

Brooke Banwart, Sephora’s Senior Vice President of Skincare Merchandising, stated the partnership aligns with Sephora’s commitment to innovation and quality in skincare, particularly in the growing Korean skincare segment. “Our clients value effective, results-driven skincare, and AESTURA delivers on this by offering cutting-edge solutions specifically designed for sensitive skin that support barrier health,” Banwart said.

AESTURA’s product line focuses on strengthening and repairing the skin barrier, a cornerstone of Asian skincare philosophy. Key products include the Atobarrier Cream, a deeply hydrating treatment, the Atobarrier Serum, designed for intensive nourishment and soothing, and the Atobarrier Hydrosoothing Cream, a lighter-textured option for immediate relief. The brand’s formulas are minimalist and free of intense fragrances, catering to individuals with sensitive, dry, or acne-prone skin.

The launch at Sephora Australia followed in August 2025, further expanding the brand’s international presence. AESTURA’s arrival at Sephora is part of a broader trend of increased demand for Korean beauty products, known for their innovative textures and multi-step routines.
