Registration for the Ridgewood High School Summer Academies will open on April 6th, with classes commencing on June 29th, according to an announcement from Ridgewood Public Schools on March 11, 2026.
The summer program offers a range of opportunities for students, including physical education classes. Session 1 of physical education will run from July 5th to July 12th, excluding July 9th. Session 2 is scheduled for July 13th to July 20th, with July 16th off. Session 3 will take place from July 21st to July 28th, not meeting on July 23rd, as detailed on the RPS Summer Academies site.
Registration for remedial and novel credit courses in business and math will start on April 1st and conclude on June 29th. Students attending schools with calendars extending beyond June 29th are advised to contact the RHS Summer School for guidance on participation, according to information provided on the RPS Summer Academies website.
Enrichment and audit courses for both middle and high school students, as well as test preparation courses, have continuous registration. All classes are contingent upon sufficient enrollment, and those with inadequate participation may be cancelled with full tuition refunds or credits, the school district stated.

As of now, the NJSLA state test is not scheduled to be administered during the summer session, though students are advised to check for updates. A full refund, minus a $25 registration fee, is available for class cancellations made before the first day of class. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after the first day of class.
