Paris Jackson has offered an update on her relationship with actor Colman Domingo following a public disagreement regarding the upcoming biopic about her father, Michael Jackson. The conversation unfolded after Domingo shared that he had reached out to Jackson to address concerns stemming from a previous interview.

Speaking at Vanity Fair’s A Night for Young Hollywood party, Jackson told Entertainment Tonight she appreciated Domingo’s gesture. “I really appreciated the sentiment of it,” Jackson said, “Because there’s lots of miscommunications and things get twisted.” The exchange marks a potential turning point in a situation that arose from differing accounts of Jackson’s involvement with the film, titled Michael.

The initial friction surfaced in September when Jackson publicly challenged a report from People, where Domingo stated that both she and her brother, Prince Jackson, had been “helpful” during the production. Jackson swiftly responded on her Instagram Story, stating, “Don’t be telling people I was ‘helpful’ on the set of a movie I had 0% involvement in lol that is so weird.” She clarified that while she had reviewed an early draft of the script and provided feedback on inaccuracies, her input wasn’t incorporated, leading her to disengage from the project.
