Van Pelt-Ramirez emphasized that while the organization has made significant progress, new challenges in the healthcare landscape continue to emerge daily. “We have come a long way,” she said. “The good news is, we are not anywhere near the situation we were in, but there seems to be these new up-and-coming challenges every single day that we’re facing in health care.”
