A resident of the city of Capuyan, Esquel, he had to carry a 90-year-old woman in his arms and take her to a hospital on foot, because no medical service went up to the town to assist her. The video went viral on social media and sparked outrage.
“We called the Fire Department, the Police and Civil Defense. No one goes up to look for the grandmother who is very serious”, explains the man who is filmed. In the scene, the woman is seen on the neighbor’s shoulder, with ice and covered by a blanket. All around is snow.
Immediately afterwards, the man who films it asks if the woman was serious, and the neighbor replies: “I carry her in my arms to be able to save her, because she is very serious”. Then the man walks through the streets of Barrio Ceferino.
Supposedly, the official medical assistance agencies did not go up to assist the woman due to the intense snow and frost that occurred in the high areas of the city.
In the last hours, it was confirmed that the woman was treated in the guardwhere they did all the tests.
Journalist Julieta Morales confirmed that the old woman, who is 90 years old and lives alone, is admitted to the Medical Clinic “in good general condition.”
