In this regard, a recent study revealed that people who include pictures and emojis in their emails. They are seen as less powerful than those who use words.

Researchers from Tel Aviv University also said that 62% of respondents prefer someone who presents themselves with a verbal profile.

Study co-author Dr. Elinor Amit explained that research has shown that visual messages are often interpreted as a signal of a desire for social closeness. Thus it gives the impression that its user is less powerful compared to the one who uses verbal expression.
