Zainab Sedky had an accident on stage that almost lost her life while embodying the hanging in a play.
“The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, in which a girl hangs herself at the end of the story, and a trick was used to deceive the audience that she was actually being hanged. Unfortunately, the trick failed for mechanical reasons and she was almost actually hanged, not just acting.

Zeinab Sedky passed away in May 1993, and she is the longest-lived artist of her generation.
