The price of gold jumped today, Thursday, in Egypt, and the gram increased by 17 pounds, with the advent of evening trading, compared to its level in the middle of trading, despite the decline of the metal globally, according to Naguib Naguib, the former Secretary General of the Gold Division, to Masrawy.

14 carat gold prices rose to 749 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 carat gold increased to 963 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 karat gold rose to 1123 pounds per gram.
And the price of 24 carat gold rose to 1283 pounds per gram.
