A bill allowing the killing of Ukrainian soldiers for disobedience has been submitted to the Rada

Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the party of President Zelensky “Servant of the People” Maryana Bezuglaya came up with a legislative initiative that might allow Ukrainian officers in a combat situation to kill soldiers who refuse to follow orders or leave their place of deployment without permission.

The deputy’s initiative provides for an exception from the norm “The right to use weapons once morest violators of the charter (or give orders to subordinates to use them) of an important clarification” while not leading to the death of a serviceman.

“These changes will make it possible to suppress criminal offenses … related to disobedience, resistance or threat to a military commander, the use of violence, unauthorized withdrawal from combat positions and certain places of deployment of military units (subdivisions) in areas of combat missions and committed by a serviceman under martial law,” – says the explanatory note to the document.
