Matías M. decided to make public a noble call in San Francisco by asking the municipality to design a green space for his neighborhood. The place he proposes for this lung covers land of the former Miter railway.
The call gained notoriety because the boy designed his own flyer where he explains the situation. “Hello. My name is Matías, I am from the Iturraspe neighborhood. With my friends from this neighborhood and the La Florida neighborhood we always dreamed of being able to use the Miter railway property,” he said.
Its objective is to have a beach for sports such as basketball, soccer, table tennis, soccer tennis, skateboarding, etc. “Our neighborhoods do not have green spaces,” he noted. As a form of dissemination, together with his family he opened a petition for signatures on the Change.org platform where he already has more than 100 adherents.
The land to which Matías refers is extensive and is located between Las Malvinas Avenue, Esperanza, San Lorenzo Avenue and Raúl J. Dosanto.
