British authorities announced that they found a British teenager in the French town of Revel, near Toulouse, who had disappeared during a family holiday in Malaga six years ago following trying to escape from a spiritual community in France.

This is Alex Batty, who is now 17 years old, disappeared during a vacation with his mother and grandfather in 2017 in the Spanish town of Malaga.

Grandma’s suspicion

At that time, his grandmother and legal guardian had informed the British press that she suspected that the boy had been transferred to Morocco, because his mother wanted to join a sect and take him out of school, as reported today by the Europa Press agency.

The teenager Batty was finally found yesterday in the French town of Revel, where he was seen by a driver who took him to a police station, according to police sources cited by British public television.
