None of the tenants of the house in which he lived, located in the Villa Concepción neighborhood, in the town of San Martín, believed that this type of white complexion, silent and affable, would end up arrested for being the attacker of the Argentine vice president .
For this reason, Sergio Parodi, who rented the room to Sabag Montiel, did not hesitate to call the Police to give him the location of his tenant. “No one in the area knows him. He didn’t speak anything. With me it was ‘hello and bye’. He saw little or nothing. And he always went in and out alone. Just a few weeks ago he appeared with a redhead. I’ve seen her come in two or three times. And I thought: ‘it’s good that she now has a girlfriend,’ ”said the owner of the property.
The little they knew about the Brazilian is that he earned his living as a driver, he had two rented vehicles and used one for transportation; in the latter he traveled from San Martín to Buenos Aires, where he committed the failed attack against the Argentine vice president.
What the police found
With the data of the landlord (as tenants are called in Argentina), the Argentine Police arrived at the house to look for data on Sabag Mantiel. After the failed attack on Cristina Kirchner and his arrest, the authorities turned their investigations towards the social networks of the Brazilian who had lived in that country since 1993 and is the son of an Argentine and a Chilean, expelled from that nation in 2021. They discovered that he liked death metal, a music genre stronger than heavy metal and he loved the band Ektomorf.

One day after the attack, thousands of Argentines took to the squares and streets of their cities and marched calling for no more hatred or divisions and demanding respect for life and difference.
Posters with messages that said “Enough of hate”, the protesters filled the Plaza de Mayo, in front of the Casa Rosada, showing support and solidarity to the Argentine vice president.
“This type of act makes us very sad. Most of us are very dismayed because in this country it is not that there are this type of attacks. Spirits are very low,” said the Argentine citizen, Emmanuel Zerbos.
The rejection was not only from the Argentines, several world leaders raised their voices in protest against this type of attack and asked for respect for life while Sabiag Montiel was sent to prison.
