Imagine going by bike to the campsite with your room, kitchen, shower, toilets, and even a fridge and TV. This is the real tour de force achieved by the French start-up TinyVroum, a specialist in comfortable camping in a small space. After its mini-caravan for carcar, which is also called TinyVroum, here is the CapsulBike, designed for cycling getaways. An invention that received the gold medal of the Lepine Contest 2023 and the Leonardo da Vinci Prize.
It measures 2.80 meters in length, by 1.10 meters in width and 1.40 meters in height, for a total weight of 69 kilos. It is large enough to accommodate a 200 x 70 cm bed, so most people should be able to sleep comfortably in it. Its four stabilizers, which can be put in place when the mini-caravan is parked, avoid any risk of tipping.

A folding WC-shower cubicle
The CapsulBike is fully equipped with a kitchen kit and even a small folding table, a 12-litre thermoelectric cooler, and a rainwater recovery system with filtrationfiltration. It is equipped with a small vertical tent that serves as a cabin for the folding toilet with biodegradable biodegradable bags and the solar shower with a 10-litre reserve. The mini-caravan even has electricity thanks to its 140 W solar panel and a 50 Ah lithium lithium battery, which allows you to charge your smartphone and an electrically assisted bicycle in particular.
TinyVroum offers a few options such as a video projector and screen, or a rooftop tent to create a second bed for a child. The CapsuleBike is sold from 3,900 euros on the manufacturer’s website.
