A Burkinabè ministerial delegation, led by the Minister of Territorial Administration, Decentralization and Security Colonel Boukaré Zoungrana was received in audience by the Togolese Head of State Faure Gnassingbé on April 12 in Pya in the north of the country.

The information shows that the delegation dispatched by the President of the transition of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, carried, in the pure African tradition, a message of condolence and solidarity from the authorities of Burkina Faso to the place of the Head of State and the Gnassingbé family, on the occasion of the funeral of the sister of the President of the Republic.

“The presence of the Burkinabè delegation in Pya also aimed to discuss with the Head of State the security situation in the common border areas”, indicates a note from the Presidency of the Republic.

The exchanges took place in the presence of Prime Minister Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé, the President of the National Assembly Yawa Tsègan, and several other authorities.
