A car caught fire and burned like a torch, on a street in Tulcea

This night, around 01:30, the military firefighters were requested to intervene to extinguish a fire caused by a car in Babadag township, Tulcea county.
A crew from the Babadag Fire Station went to the place indicated by the caller, with a fire truck.
When the military firefighters arrived, the fire manifested itself as a generalized burn, at the level of the engine compartment of a car parked in a yard in the locality.
Through the prompt intervention of the rescuers, the fire was located and extinguished within the limits found.

The probable cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit.

Shortly after, another call to the single emergency number 112 requested the intervention of the military fire department to extinguish a fire caused by a moving car on a street in the municipality of Tulcea.
In order to manage the emergency situation, a team of rescuers from the Tulcea Fire Department was mobilized.
When the intervention crew arrived, the fire was widespread throughout the car.
Fortunately, there were no casualties, the driver and passenger managed to self-evacuate.

Following the on-site investigations, the firefighters established the probable cause of the fire: electrical short circuit, ISU Tulcea representatives reported.
