A check from Steve Jobs for $9 estimated at $25,000

A $9.18 vintage Apple check signed by Steve Jobs is expected to fetch over $25,000.

Vintage is still and always in fashion. A particularly noteworthy check is currently up for auction. This check bears both Steve Jobs’ signature and a letterhead that reads “Apple Computer Company.” Moreover, it is dated July 23, 1976, the year Apple was founded. The object is available on the site of RR Auction.

The check uses Apple’s first official address at “770 Welch Rd., Ste. 154, Palo Alto“. The ad details that “this old address is the location of an answering and mail drop service they used when they still operated out of the famous Jobs family garage.” The object is “in very good condition. Encapsulated in PSA/DNA authentication support.”

The sale will end within ten days and the check should be sold for at least 25,000 dollars.
