He actually started with a simple iPhone 13 Pro Max to which he added a second battery, thus doubling the basic autonomy of 4,352mAh. The thickness of the original case being too thin, Yang Changshun had to fix a second case to contain everything. He also took the opportunity to improve the passive cooling system of the A15 Bionic chip, by integrating a cooling system with two fans.
It is obvious that such a model of iPhone 13 Pro Max will not find itself on the market anytime soon, or at least at a totally unreasonable price. In the meantime, the iPhone 13 Pro Max equipped with 1TB of storage is sold for €1,839 by Apple. But it has half the battery life, a Lightning port and no audio jack port…
