Vienna (ots) – Ford, Manner and the SOS Children’s Village are working together. The main roles are the new Ford Ranger, which has just received another international award1, the legendary Wiener Manner Schnitte and one of the world’s most famous Austrian inventions: the SOS Children’s Village. What all of the actors mentioned have in common is that they have often been copied but never equaled, although there are of course many good pick-up models, even more different cuts and, fortunately, many institutions that follow the SOS Children’s Village idea.
But none of this changes the fact that no company in the world sells as many pickups as Ford, no one in Austria makes more cuts than Manner and no institution in the world gives more children a home than the SOS Children’s Village – that guarantees the originals their special status . A special position that we have packaged in pictures before Christmas.
Known for its large transport capacities, the Ford Ranger – the original – is the perfect vehicle to collect lots of sweets from the famous pink factory in Vienna Hernals and deliver the sweet surprise to more than a hundred children.
When we arrived at Manner, our ranger was loaded with lots of bags and boxes, much to the delight of the onlookers who were constantly present and who always had the photographer and the videographer in their sights. Well-filled, we went through the snow to the only Viennese SOS Children’s Village in Vienna’s 21st district: a center where children who grow up without parents meet each other every day to play and learn, while their living units are located all around.
The well-filled Manner baskets were quickly unloaded and brought together in a large shopping cart to the SOS Children’s Village. Accompanied by the smile of the lady who had taken on this responsible task.
What did this campaign impressively prove? When originals come together, all it takes is a little push to achieve something really big.
