Al-Marsad newspaper: The farmer, Muhammad Bashi, revealed that he has cultivated the rare dragon fruit in the Kingdom.
He said during his intervention with the “Al-Rassed” program broadcast on Al-Ekhbariya channel: that he succeeded in cultivating the rare dragon fruit in Jizan. He pointed out that he planted a small amount two years ago, and the result was good fruits compared to the foreign fruits.
He pointed out that the price of 200 grams of fruit amounts to 50 riyals due to its health benefits, explaining that it has a low sugar content.
He added, the nutritional value of this fruit is high because it contains vitamins, oxidants and salts.
