Comet Nishimura immortalized from the summit of Chasseral. Visible for only a few minutes this weekend, the comet was photographed by Michel Willemin on Sunday morning around 5:30 a.m. A photo shared to RJB by the photographer.

The event is rare: discovered a little over a month ago by Japanese astronomer Hideo Nishimura, this comet approaches Earth approximately every 434 years. Its last passage near our planet is estimated at 1588. /the
