Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomical Society, said that the inhabitants of the Earth are on a date with an important space phenomenon on the first of next February, when they can see the comet C 2022 E3 (ZTF) with the naked eye, which is a long-term comet that orbits the sun once every 50 thousand. year.
He added that the comet, discovered in March 2022, will reach its perihelion point on January 12, and will be at its closest approach to Earth on February 1. Pointing out that it can be observed between January 14 and February 16, when it is expected to become brighter. Thus it becomes visible to the naked eye.
