The city of Belbeis, Sharkia Governorate, in the Delta of Egypt, witnessed a tragic incident when a woman and her son and daughter were electrocuted inside their house.
The mother, Samar A.M., 35, and her two children, “Mohammed,” 8, and “Farah,” 3, were all found dead inside their apartment, after they were electrocuted by an electric circuit that caused their death on the spot.
The beginning of the incident was when Mrs. Samar Ibrahim started running a washing machine to wash clothes in her home located next to the Belbeis train station in Sharkia Governorate, where she lives with her husband, Amin Salah, and their three children, but during that time she was electrocuted and screamed for help.
The mother’s cries for distress resonated with her 8-year-old son, Muhammad, who rushed to his mother, but he caught her in a childish attempt to save her, so she also caught the electricity, so he screamed too, so his 3-year-old sister “Farah” went out to help her mother and brother Electricity holds it, too.

The father who works as a “mechanic” returned from work with his son, a student in the sixth grade of primary school, who was helping his father at work, to find in front of them the horrific scene of 3 bodies stuck inside the house of the mother and her two young children.
3 dead bodies in hospital
In a desperate attempt to save what could be saved, the mother and her two children were rushed to Belbeis General Hospital, but the medical report of the three victims proved that they had died of electric shock, and they breathed their last before reaching the hospital.
Major General Muhammad Wali, Director of Sharkia Security, received a notification from Major Muhammad Fouad, head of investigations at Belbeis Center, stating that a report had been received that Samar Ibrahim Mahmoud, 35, and her two children, Muhammad, 8, and Farah, 3, had been electrocuted inside the house. .
By examining the report, it was found that the three bodies were transferred to the mortuary of Belbeis General Hospital, and the necessary legal report was issued on the details of the incident and presented to the competent investigation authorities.
The Public Prosecution Office in Belbeis, Sharkia Governorate, began investigations into the incident, and then announced, in the early hours of Thursday morning, the burial of the three bodies, as there was no criminal suspicion in the accident and the death of the victims as a result of electrocution.
