One person died in a fire developed in the center of Santiago, specifically at the intersection of the streets Merced con Mosquetto.
According to preliminary information, it would be an older adult who lived in the cfourth floor of a residential building, so it was quickly affected by the fire that came from the third floor.
Meanwhile, the other inhabitants of the place might be evacuated. So far the reasons for the situation are unknown.
More than 120 volunteer firefighters from at least 14 companies from the communes of Santiago and Ñuñoa.
