Without a wedding ceremony or even an official announcement, superstars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have obtained a Nevada marriage license, according to court records released Sunday.
Clark County court records in Nevada showed Affleck and Lopez obtained a marriage license and the proceedings took place on Saturday, although the marriage license was not evidence of an actual marriage.

Last April, Lopez announced her engagement to Ben Affleck in a video she posted to her fans, in which she showed an engagement ring bearing a green emerald.
Court records show that Lopez intends to take on the name Jennifer Affleck.
The relationship between Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 49, dates back to when they announced their intention to marry in late 2003, but they postponed their marriage plans before they separated in early 2004, and then the flame of their relationship flared up again last year.
Engagement that did not lead to marriage
Affleck presented with Lopez the movie “Gigly” in 2003, and then “Jersey Girl” in 2004. Some time passed, and then they announced their engagement again, but they did not marry.
While Affleck married star Jennifer Garner in 2005 and they had three children and separated in 2018.

As for Lopez, she was married three times, as she was married for one year (1997-1998) to the Cuban film star Ojani Nao, then she married choreographer and actor Chris Good from 2001 to 2003.
