A large delegation represents the Moroccan Parliament at the 17th conference of the Parliamentary Union of member countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (UP-OIC), from January 26 to 30 in Algiers.

This session focuses on the theme ”Islamic world and challenges of modernization and development”. It knows the participation of the representatives of the parliaments of the member countries of the UP-OIC and those of the international and regional parliamentary organizations as observers.

Chaired by Mohamed Ouzzine, Vice-President of the House of Representatives, the parliamentary delegation is made up of MPs Mohamed Chebak (RNI), Najwa Koukous (PAM) and Khalid Chenak (PI), and on the side of the House of Councillors, Abdelkrim Chahid (coordinator of the Constitutional, Democratic and Social Grouping) and Khalid Setti (UNTM).

This session takes place in a context marked by multiple challenges on the political, economic and security levels, in addition to the latest developments concerning the Palestinian cause, indicates a press release from the Parliament.
