On the occasion of Realms Deep 2022the developers of Fortune’s Run released a video to announce their demo, available on Steam. According to sa ficheit’s a classic retro-FPS in a rather cynical dystopian universe, but with little touches of RPG à la Deus Ex or E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy. There is infiltration as well as a slightly more developed than average melee combat aspect. You can chain punches, but above all wield a katana to cut enemies and repel bullets. Rest assured, guns are also available to blast opponents’ heads off and the gameplay feels quite frenetic. We haven’t had time to test this at the editorial office yet, so we’re counting on you to give us feedback.
Fortune’s Run doesn’t have a release date yet, but if you like the demo, you can wishlist the game from on the Steam page.
