A dentist’s office will be sent to Ukraine and reassembled in a military hospital

A 66-year-old dentist has decided to retire in December 2022 after 30 years of practice. Despite a firm that worked well, he did not find a buyer in Châtillon-Coligny (Loiret). Same observation when he wanted to part with his equipment, yet recent and in good condition. He was unable to resell his equipment, worth an estimated 100,000 euros, reports France 3 Center Loire Valley.

It was then that the sexagenarian discovered by chance the Occitan association which organizes humanitarian convoys to Ukraine. Thanks to the organization, which came to pick up the cargo this Friday in the Loiret, the dental office will experience a second life. The devices will be sent to the country at war in the middle of a load of 30 tons of essential equipment.

The cabinet should be reconstituted within three weeks within the military hospital of Lviv (Ukraine). Civilians and soldiers injured during the conflict can be taken care of there. “I think it’s good to bring a dental office where we need it most”, commented Pascal Serrier, president of OccItalien.
