A deputy from Chaco was denounced this Sunday for having beaten his 15-year-old niece, who officiated as a prosecutor for Together for Change at a school in the town of Laguna Blanca. The incident occurred just as the electoral process began.

“Since early hours, on this Sunday, we became aware of an unfortunate act of political violence in Laguna Blanca, by the provincial deputy Claudia Panzardi who slapped a Prosecutor of Patricia Bullrich, arguing that she could not be a Prosecutor because she was under 18 years of age, and also, she is actually a niece of the Deputy. The Chaco Police intervened, taking the victim to the police station to file a complaint. The young woman attacked is 15 years old and appears on the electoral roll, since she turns 16 before the general elections on October 22. That is, she is empowered to vote in this year’s elections.
