After the disappointing defeat in Rödinghausen, it was important for the SCP to get back on the road to success. With a 4:0 win against Straelen, this was also achieved, although the competitor from Essen also won and thus only kept up. After all, Fortuna Cologne did not get more than 1: 1 in the second representation of Fortuna Düsseldorf. Farrona Pulido back in the starting XI
Manuel Farrona Pulido and Jules Schwadorf returned to the starting XI against Straelen. Long-running favorites Nicolai Remberg and Darius Ghindovean took a seat on the bench. Thorben Deters moved from the wing to the center, Hildmann wanted to boost the offensive game with Deters and Schwadorf in eighth position – with success. Hildmann follows up in central midfield
In the 20 minutes after half-time, Straelen slowly got the upper hand and approached Max Schule Niehues’ Prussia box. Cagatay Kader ran away from a corner and tested Prussia’s custodian, who was able to scrape a free-kick from the same keeper further down the line. Apparently, Straelen had exhausted himself so much in this phase that there was a lack of strength at the back. From the turn, he pointed the ball through the braces of the Straelen goalkeeper. When Darius Ghindovean put the ball under the crossbar from Jan Dahlke at full speed, the mass was finally read. But Dahlke himself could have increased shortly before the final whistle, but after a cross from Teklab he put the ball wide of the goal.
The most important thing for last
Of course, this win was important to get three points and to be prepared for the next difficult games against Lotte, Wuppertal and Cologne. However, the most important sign was sent before the game.
