Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Media Office of the General Authority of Meteorology, said that today will be the last day of high temperature and humidity, which began last Wednesday.
Ghanem added, during a telephone interview with the Good Morning Egypt program, on the first Egypt channel, on Sunday, that the maximum temperature in Cairo recorded 37 degrees, and the perceived temperature reached 40 degrees.
And she continued, “The weather is very hot on Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern and southern Upper Egypt, and moderate on the northern coasts during the day.”
She stressed that with the absence of sunlight, we are witnessing a moderate atmosphere throughout the Republic, with wind activity recording a speed of 40 km, and light water mist on agricultural roads, desert and close to water bodies.
She explained that starting tomorrow, Monday, we will witness a decrease in temperature by regarding 3 degrees in most areas, with Cairo recording 34 degrees during the day.
