The Kuwaiti media, Mai Al-Aidan, attacked the Syrian artist, Asala Nasri, because of the latter’s concert in “Ain Al-Sira Lake, next to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo,” which coincided with a large campaign calling for its cancellation.

And she participated in the hashtag “Asala is not welcome,” and she wrote in a tweet via her official account on the “Twitter” site: “God willing, oh God, oh generous, the boat drowns, and you do not know how to swim, and you do not get a savior or a diver .. Oh God, oh generous and we are saved.”

The controversial media post commented on Asala entering the theater on a boat on Friday, accompanied by her husband, Faiq Hassan.

The artist was subjected to widespread attack during the past few days, as some demanded the cancellation of her concert in Cairo, after they considered her previous statements a denial of Egypt’s favor to her in her artistic career.

However, this tweet, which achieved more than 350 million views, faced a huge number of attacks that affected Al-Aidan, and many described it as “jealous.”

While one of them said to her: The supplication without right and no person who did something for you will come back to you?

The Kuwaiti media responded by saying: “She does not have the same right as she used me with the failed clip. She does not see what we forget, so how can I claim her?

The owner of “Thank you” published a tweet last year via Twitter, and wrote, “The one who is on his head flattened and upset is a thinker. I did not include him in my song # Thank you, I correct him, and thank you even to those who do not bite. If you did not howl, I would not have existed all these years.”

Al-Aidan responded to her with a tweet, saying, “He said, ‘Why have you been there all these years? O Sheikha, no one brought me the middle ear other than your voice.'”

It is noteworthy that the Kuwaiti media, May Al-Aidan, is known for always raising controversy with her opinions and the way she talks about Arab celebrities and stars. She was even fined for insulting the Egyptian artist Ahmed Badir last year.
