A few CH players shook hands with Luke Richardson after the game

The Canadian was in Chicago ~~tonight~~ this afternoon to face the Blackhawks. Martin St-Louis’ troops won in a shootout on a winning goal by Kirby Dach against their former team.

Moreover, he made it known to his former supporters.

I don’t understand why he gets booed in the first place, but hey…

The Canadiens have now won their last two games. This is already the fourth winning streak of the season for Montreal. Remember that last year it took a while to see two straight wins.

In short.

After the game, the players shook hands with their former assistant coach and now Hawks head coach, Luke Richardson. This proves how much he was a respected man in the locker room. He spoke with Michael Pezzetta, Jake Evans and Joel Edmundson, among others.

I imagine he would have liked to defeat his old team, but let’s bet he will take it, period.

In the photo, we can see David Savard with Seth Jones. Remember that the two know each other well, they who rubbed shoulders in Columbus for several seasons.

To return to Richardson, he was obviously very coveted around the NHL last summer. Stu Cowan thinks he would have been the CH driver if he spoke French.

Max Domi has also signed in Chicago because of the hiring of the Ontarian.

Richardson does not know the start of the season hoped for with his new team (6-10-4). We weren’t expecting better since there is clearly a lack of talent there, but hey… we thought the same thing for the CH and yet, it is at the point of participating in the playoffs.
