A fire affected a barn, a garden shed and a dwelling house on Saturday evening in the hamlet of Dardona, which straddles the municipalities of Crans-Montana and Noble-Contrée.
According to the cantonal police, no one was injured in the incident and no evacuations were necessary. “The circumstances remain undetermined for the time being,” she said.
Significant resources have been committed on the spot. The Crans-Montana, Noble-Contrée, Sierre and Sion CSIs fought the flames there. At 9:45 p.m., the fire was not yet extinguished but it was under control, according to the cantonal police.
