Five months following its announcement, the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 is making waves once more with the first in-game images of the game engine. It looks promising.
In 2024 one of the most anticipated games of recent years will be released. Nearly 10 years following the release of the last major episode of the franchise, MGS V, Hideo Kojima returns to his first love with a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. One of the franchise’s most beloved titles is getting a well-deserved makeover, 20 years following its release on Playstation 2.
For the first time since its announcement last May during the Playstation Showcase, Metal Gear Solid Delta is finally revealed with a first gameplay video. Re-released under Unreal Engine 5, the game displays truly impressive graphics thanks to Epic Games’ game engine.
The vegetation reacts impressively to the player’s movements, while the environments and lighting effects seem very successful. If the final result of the game, expected for next year, resembles what is shown in the video, it is very promising.
