The 26-year-old Nidwalden especially won the first top 3 of her career over the classic distance.
U23 World Champion in 2018 on the same Graubünden course and second in the Short Race on Friday, Alessandra Keller conceded 24” to the winner, the Frenchwoman Loana Lecomte. Second place went to Sweden’s Jenny Rissveds, beaten by 8”.
The heroines of the Tokyo Games did not perform as well as Alessandra Keller on Sunday. Olympic champion Jolanda Neff was 6th at 2’23”, bronze medalist Linda Indergand was 9th at 3’00”. As for Olympic vice-champion Sina Frei, she had to settle for 16th place.
