The most iconic characters from the original episode are back in this revival of the Modern Warfare saga.
It was on the eve of the Summer Game Fest that Activision Blizzard wanted to strike a blow. Indeed, the American video game publisher unveiled this Wednesday evening the very first trailer for the next episode of Call of Duty, Modern Warfare II.
Very clearly, this remake has nothing to do with the original episode released in 2009 on PS3 and Xbox 360. If the background has not changed, with characters like Captain Price, Ghost or Soap, the form, it is completely changed. The game engine is the same as used in the next Warzone 2, while the gameplay looks more explosive than before.
Finally, level scenario, we learn that it will take place three years following the events of the previous opus and that we will travel through Europe, Asia and the Americas. The relationships between the characters should be exploited more.
As a reminder, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II will be released on PC and consoles on October 28, 2022.
