The influencer and former participant ofOccupation double Jessie Nadeau will again have to defend herself in court, this time against an ex-friend who is asking her for $105,000, accusing her of having peddled gossip about her.

“The plaintiff was deeply shaken, saddened and humiliated […]. She is therefore entitled to demand compensation, ”we read in a civil lawsuit filed by Marie Le Bel and which Jessie Nadeau vigorously contests.
Mme Le Bel, who advocates body positivism on Instagram, explains in the court document that she befriended the influencer through mutual friends. Thus, during Jessie Nadeau’s birthday, the woman offered her aphrodisiac oils, a sex toy and a massage.
Mme Le Bel claims to have also brought vegan meals to Jessie Nadeau at a time when the influencer “was not well”, in addition to having already helped her with a car problem.
What seemed to be a beautiful friendship, however, would have taken a bad turn when the former participant of the reality show allegedly claimed that her girlfriend had broken into her home to bring her food, thus feeling “in danger”, according to her ex- friend.
As for naughty gifts, Jessie Nadeau would have qualified them as “completely inappropriate”.
“She told other people that this gift made her uncomfortable and that Mr.me Le Bel did not understand the notions of consent, harassment and assault, ”he lamented in the civil suit.

Affirming that the alleged comments made by Jessie Nadeau were “inaccurate and aberrant”, Mme Le Bel has decided to go to court to seek justice.
“She was enormously upset that Jessie Nadeau wrongly allowed herself to invent several erroneous elements about her,” reads the court document.
“In fact, Mr.me The Beautiful […] felt betrayed and shocked. »
The influencer, for her part, said she intended to defend herself against what she describes as a “desperate attempt to intimidate me”.
“It is really unfortunate that people use our justice system as a notoriety lever to advance their professional agenda while real victims are waiting to be heard by the courts,” she said through of his lawyer M.e Remi Bourget.
She then assured that she would “deploy all the resources necessary to make the truth known”.
♦ Jessie Nadeau is also being sued for defamation by her ex-husband Pascal-Hugo Caron-Cantin, who is claiming $205,000 from her because of allegations of domestic violence on social networks.
