A former UFC champion makes a 2 on 2 in a Siamese boxing fight, the images are surreal

A UFC light-heavyweight legend gave us a somewhat special boxing match. It was a 2 on 2 fight which on paper is cringeworthy.

Although several combat sports events took place on Saturday, none were wilder on paper than Fight Circus’ latest offering, which in many ways delivered on its promise. Fight Circus 6 took place this Saturday, April 1, and in the main event, former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson teamed up with fellow PRIDE veteran Bob Sapp for a Siamese boxing match against promoter Jon Nutt and his partner Woody. As expected, the fight was quickly derailed.

A mix between UFC, boxing and WWE

Of course, yesterday was April 1st, but no, we assure you, it’s not a joke. While this weekend the UFC has not planned any event, combat sports were in the spotlight. There was the return of Anthony Joshua against Jermaine Franklin, the PFL, Bellator, the return of José Aldo to boxing and finally as the highlight of the show, “Rampage” and Sapp in a 2 vs 2 tag team boxing match. The latter inflicted a knockdown in the first round, sending an opponent into the ropes.

Watch the first-round knockdown below.

In the second round, the turn of events got even crazier. As the referees tried to separate Jackson and Sapp from their opponents, both fighters punched some of them. One took offense and performed a single leg on Rampage Jackson, while the longtime MMA fighter fought back with punches. All of this, of course, in a good mood. It’s Wrestlemania weekend for wrestling fans anyway, the former UFC fighter knows how to put on a show.

Eventually and fortunately for them, Jackson and Sapp were victorious by TKO in the third round. This evening was under the sign of humor and all proceeds will be donated to charities.
