A strong explosion was recorded this Friday night in the city of Lugansk, capital of the self-proclaimed republic of the same name in eastern Ukraine, inform local media
It is specified that after the explosion a section of the Druzhba gas pipeline caught fire, reports a correspondent of RIA Novosti. Teams from the local Emergency Situations Ministry are working on the scene. Eyewitnesses place the epicenter of the deflagration near the Horizont plant. According to some information, a fault in a gas distribution unit could have been at the origin of the fire.

Shortly after it was reported another explosion at a gas station, the causes of which are also unknown.
