In the cinema, it was in the film Bullitt, starring Steve McQueen, that the Ford Mustang rose to fame. However, some will recall that she made a notable appearance in the 1964 film Goldfinger, the third in the James Bond Series.
What we remember most of this film, on the car side, are the debut of the famous Aston Martin DB5. However, at first, in a pursuit involving the English classic, it was opposed to a Ford Mustang.
In the scene, Tilly Masterson, played by Tania Mallet, tries to escape James Bond on a winding road in the heart of the Swiss mountains. After catching her, Agent 007 activates a device that pulls a rod out of the wheels of the DB5, which has the effect of puncturing one of the Mustang’s tires. The scene is memorable.
Now also remember that the Ford Mustang convertible used is white in the movie. What then of the edition in question here?
