The issue of the Spartans and mainly the confrontation between the government and SYRIZA after the statements of Stefanos Kasselakis’ cousin and MEP candidate Vassilis that the votes of the Spartans are welcome dominated the news of the political editors.

And he added in response to the SYRIZA press representative: “The question addressed by Ms. Kehagia has a clear answer from our position which does not calculate any political benefit or cost and is oriented towards the protection of the state. We don’t discount, we don’t hide behind dates. The government does not want any such vote. They are exposed, and the historian will record these in a strict and fair manner.”
Regarding what the head of the Hellenic Solution, Kyriakos Velopoulos, said from the floor of the Parliament, asking those who voted for the marriage equality bill to better not go to church on Easter, he pointed out:
“We are not afraid to go to church and no one can scare any citizen from going to church, any believer from visiting his neighborhood temple. If we can find something good from these tragic incidents of violence, it is that the masks and parties that entered parliament supposedly because they advocated our religion and faith have fallen, and they did the opposite of what they advocate.”
And he concluded: “In practice, with their behavior and rhetoric, they show the exact opposite face. These behaviors do not reflect the church, which supports society and does important charity work, and this is the big picture we need to keep ahead of Easter.”
