An Egyptian groom beat his bride 3 hours after the wedding party ended, causing her to fall into a coma with a fractured skull and pelvis, and she was transferred to the intensive care room in a Cairo hospital.
The groom said about the circumstances of the accident, that his mother advised him to beat his wife on the night of the wedding so that she would feel afraid of him and see the “red eye” from the beginning, and that his mother’s goal was to avoid repeating the same scenario that happened with his brothers; Where they were controlled by their wives after marriage.
And the groom Salim added: “I was the youngest of my brothers and obedient to my mother, who I do not like to anger her one day, and when she asked me to be a man with my wife on the wedding night so that she would not violate me in any matter, I did not hesitate at all.” He said: “I listened to the words of my mother who was whispering in my ear all night of the party not to let her down as my brothers did before, and on that day I slapped my wife three times in the face to prove to her that I am the man and the one who spoke the word from the first day, but she did not shut up and beat me and started cursing me for my behavior with her”. Then, “Salim” took revenge on his bride, and the problem developed into a violent verbal altercation, which made him hit her with a piece of iron he brought from the kitchen, causing her to fall into a complete coma, which forced him to call her father and mother.
Then her father called the police and took her to the nearest hospital, and upon completion of her examination, it was found that she had a fractured skull and pelvis.
