This Friday evening, a homeless man born in 1950 was arrested after calling the emergency services following the death of a lady born in 1962 who was hosting him in the center of Liège.
Thursday evening, the suspect went to the home of a lady who regularly offers him accommodation. When he arrived at the scene, the man found the resident of the premises dead. He did not call the emergency services until Friday evening when he was certain of his death.

Given the circumstances, he was suspected of having attempted the life of his landlady. He was stopped. The Liège public prosecutor’s office has been informed of the facts. The suspect has been arrested.
At first, the medical examiner was unable to determine the cause of death. An investigating judge was seized. The accommodation has been sealed. The autopsy of the lady was carried out at the Medico-Legal Institute of Liège. The medical examiner came to the conclusion that it was a natural death, without the intervention of a third party.
The man who was suspected before being cleared, was released this Saturday afternoon.
