Al-Marsad newspaper: Today, Monday, the Pakistani police announced that an explosion occurred in a mosque in the city of Peshawar, close to the border with Afghanistan, confirming that part of the building had collapsed, while some people were still under the rubble.
A Pakistani official said that the suicide attack in a mosque in the city of Peshawar has left 19 dead and dozens injured so far, stressing that most of the dead were security men.
Earlier, an official at Peshawar Hospital reported the arrival of more than 70 wounded, including a number of critical cases, following the mosque bombing.
No one has claimed responsibility for the bombing, which took place in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which borders Afghanistan.
