A journalist was killed in Kiev during a Russian attack

Kiev: A journalist has been killed in a Russian airstrike in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. According to local media reports, Vera Girich, a journalist with Radio Swaboda, was killed. Several people were killed in the attacks in the Donetsk region and in Kharkiv.

Meanwhile, during a visit by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, there was a rocket attack in Kiev, Ukraine. The rocket landed near the hotel where Guterres was staying. The incident took place following a meeting with the President of Ukraine. UN envoys say Guterres and his team are safe.

The Indonesian president has announced that Ukrainian President Vladimir Selensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed to attend the G20 summit in November as Russia’s occupation of Ukraine continues.

US President Joe Biden has also come out in support of Ukraine following Russia warned the United States and NATO once morest providing arms to Ukraine.
