A “light” tremor in Al-Matn… has nothing to do with the Turkey earthquake

The National Center for Geophysics in Bahnas, affiliated to the National Council for Scientific Research, reported today, Monday followingnoon, that “a slight earthquake occurred, at 4:30 local time, in the Al-Matin area in the Al-Matn district, with a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale and has nothing to do with the Turkey earthquake.”

And the National Center of Geophysics in Bahnas, affiliated with the National Council for Scientific Research, stated, at dawn today, that “at 3:17 am Beirut time, an earthquake occurred in the sea between Lebanon and Cyprus, with a magnitude of 4.8 degrees on the Richter scale, and it is regarding 160 km from the Lebanese coast, and a hair was felt.” The population of Lebanon, especially in the northern coastal areas.

In Turkey, the tremor reached 7.6 degrees on the Richter scale, and the tremor in Cyprus reached 3.8 degrees.
