A major outage hit Slack messaging on Tuesday

Communications platform Slack struggled on Tuesday morning, giving many of the workers who rely on it a hard time.

As of around 2:30 p.m., “all users should be able to access” the messaging service, according to a message from the company on its page reporting the outages. Slack was reporting improvements since noon.

Users from all over the world reported on social media having problems sending or receiving messages.

On Twitter, the application acknowledged recognizes that users are experiencing certain problems and apologized.

Slack allows the exchange of written messages and is used in many companies whose employees work remotely.
