According to Al-Sabah, a gang consisting of five people robbed a jewelry store in the Maarif area of ​​Casablanca. The operation included jewelry, sums of money, and checks, valued at 500 million, which caused a major security alert among all security services in Casablanca.

The accused had arrived at the famous “Ben Omar” Caesarea in Maarif, in a car, around six in the morning, and to avoid the attention of the night guards, they carried out the robbery in a short time, beginning by breaking down the iron door of the commercial store overlooking the street in a professional manner, and robbing an iron safe in the store. They contained important sums of money and checks, and they also seized all the precious jewelry displayed in the store, before leaving for an unknown destination.

This, and the shock spread to all the owners of the gold shops after the famous “Al-Qaysariya” opened its doors, and they discovered the theft, before the security services were notified of the incident, so its members immediately disbanded, accompanied by members of the scientific and technical police, who began the process of scanning the crime scene to search for evidence that would lead to identifying the accused. The investigators also began reviewing the surveillance cameras on the street and nearby stores, which revealed that the robbery was carried out by five masked people.
